How Does MongoHQ Handle Data Backups?

Do you know? MongoHQ takes regular snapshots of the data that is hosted on our Mongo hosting platform. At a minimum, they take system snapshots every 24 hours. This ensures that, from a disaster-recovery perspective, the oldest your data will be is 24 hours. They keep these snapshots as protection in the event of an unlikely failure on the part of our platform or the underlying platforms that support our service. They strongly encourage you to take regular backups of your data. They have created and provide tools that easily allow you to automate this process to your Amazon S3 / Rackspace Cloud / Google Cloud accounts. We applaud the court for finding Samsung’s behavior willful and for sending a loud and clear message that stealing isn’t right. Then, the Samsung PR team: “Today’s verdict should not be viewed as a win for Apple, but as a loss for the American consumer. It will lead to fewer choices, less innovation, and potentially higher prices. It is...
